Fundraising
Our Labor Day weekend food drive at Stop & Shop was amazingly successful! HVCC collected almost 4,500 food items for our Pantry. We were also thrilled to receive over $1500 in donations during the event, plus $550 in gift cards and $1000 donated online! The total value collected over the weekend drive was $9869. This was a huge effort by so many people, including the staff at HVCC, the local Police Explorers, the staff and managers of Stop & Shop, and of course the members of our community. Thank you all for pulling together to help feed the hungry in your neighborhoods.
Our "Feed the Children" faith group food drive has collected 5,277 items for the Tri-Town Pantry so far! We would like to thank the following congregations for their amazing generosity:

The 15th Annual Todd Abitz Memorial Golf Tournament was held on Wednesday, June 22nd at Tradition Golf Club in Windsor. A dedicated group of die-hard golfers braved the rain to raise money for HVCC, MACC Charitites, and the BSBI Brotherhood. Thank you to our golfers, our sponsors, and our organizers!
Our 40th Anniversary Celebration was held on May 4th at Maneely's in South Windsor. Guests enjoyed food, raffle prizes, dancing, and a fashion show. If you missed it, here are some highlights from the evening:
