Amy received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Connecticut. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Hockanum Valley Community Council since 2015.

Amy’s main focus is treating mental health conditions in individual therapy; she specializes in working with adults. In addition, she facilitates the men’s Early Recovery Group for substance use at HVCC.

She offers treatment for a variety of disorders including: Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, ADHD, OCD and related Disorders, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is her main form of therapeutic intervention, but she also utilizes Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Strength-Based, Relational, and Trauma focused care.

Amy’s goal is to help guide you toward experiencing a more rewarding life. Meeting with a therapist can be the first step toward getting back on track to making significant and lasting changes. Her office provides a safe environment to take that step toward change.
