Position Available: Mental Health Clinician (Full-Time) (Danielson Office)

Role and responsibilities:
Hockanum Valley Community Council is expanding services into the Danielson, CT area. This position is for a State of Connecticut Judicial Department contracted program to provide mental health and substance abuse treatment and case management services to adult offenders. The position is located out of Danielson, Connecticut with some travel necessary to Danielson probation offices and court, as well as to HVCC's main office in Vernon, Connecticut. This full-time position operates Monday- Friday with no on-call or crisis responsibilities after hours and no direct supervision of staff. Clinical supervision towards licensure is available for licensed tracked individuals. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.

Position Available: Dial-a-Ride Driver, PSL or CDL with P Endorsement, Full-Time

Education & Experience:
Valid Connecticut driver’s license. PSL or CDL endorsement preferred. Successful criminal background check. Clean driving record as evident on the DMV driver history form. High school diploma or its equivalent.
Knowledge of greater Vernon, Ellington, Tolland, East Hartford, Coventry and Manchester area as well as other towns which may be added.
Essential Functions:
Assists passengers in boarding and leaving the vehicle, and carrying packages and bundles.
Ensures pickups and deliveries are made in a timely manner.
Maintains log of passenger trips and vehicle performance as required.
Performs pre-operation safety check of assigned vehicle. Checks fluid levels and reports any issues found.
Maintains vehicle usage and service logs as required.
Keeps assigned vehicle(s) clean.
Follows all safety procedures and regulations.
Providing excellent customer service.
