Position Available: Dial-a-Ride Driver, CDL with P Endorsement, Full or Part-Time Avaialble

Education & Experience:
Valid Connecticut driver’s license. PSL or CDL endorsement preferred. Successful criminal background check. Clean driving record as evident on the DMV driver history form. High school diploma or its equivalent.
Knowledge of greater Vernon, Ellington, Tolland, East Hartford, Coventry and Manchester area as well as other towns which may be added.
Essential Functions:
Assists passengers in boarding and leaving the vehicle, and carrying packages and bundles.
Ensures pickups and deliveries are made in a timely manner.
Maintains log of passenger trips and vehicle performance as required.
Performs pre-operation safety check of assigned vehicle. Checks fluid levels and reports any issues found.
Maintains vehicle usage and service logs as required.
Keeps assigned vehicle(s) clean.
Follows all safety procedures and regulations.
Providing excellent customer service.
